To give permission for the Carlton Action Group to hold a community sports day on Carlton Hill recreation Ground on 16th August 2024 between 4pm and 8pm, plus 2 hours required before after the event to set up and take down.

That the Carlton Action Group be permitted to go ahead with their community sports day as outlined on the above date. Attendance, est. 300-1000.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

To give permission for Notts Orienteering Club to run their orienteering event at Burntstump Country Park on 13th July from 10:30am until 12:30pm. Set up time from 10am. Take down by 1pm.

That the Orienteering event be allowed to go ahead at Burntstump Country Park as outlined on the above date and times. Attendance, est. 10-12 participants
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accidents for any activities held on the park.

To obtain Member approval for the updated terms and conditions for venue hire as set out in appendix 1-8 to this report.

The Leader of the Council approves the updated terms and conditions set out at appendix 1-8 to this report to be effective from 1 April 2024.

To approve a revised set of Sports Fees and Charges for the Parks and Street Care Service and seeks approval for their introduction from 1 April 2024.

The report details a revised set of Fees and Charges for Waste Services and seeks approval for the introduction from 1 April 2024. It also proposes revised fees and charges specifically for garden waste which would be applicable from 1 April 2025.

a)To approve the revised Fees and Charges for bulky waste, bin change and miscellaneous as detailed in Appendix A. This to be effective from 1 April 2024.
b)To approve the revised Fees and Charges for Garden Waste, as detailed in Appendix A. This to be effective from 1 April 2025.

The purpose of this report is:
1.To seek approval to transfer the Off-Site Open Space Development Contributions received through the Section 106 Agreement dated 13th October 2014 to Ravenshead Parish Council to expend on capital projects which meet the requirements of the Section 106 Agreement;
2.To establish by virement the capital programme budgets for the delivery of Open Space Development projects by the Parish Council, to be funded by Section 106 developer contributions.

To approve:
1) the transfer of the Off-Site Open Spaces Contribution (up to £103,224.00), from the Section 106 Agreement dated 13th October 2014 in relation to the Planning Permission 2013/0836 – Land Known as Cornwater Fields Off Longdale Lane to be spent in accordance with Schedule One of the above Section 106 Agreement.
2)the establishment, by virement, of the capital programme budgets for delivery of Off-Site Open Space development projects to be funded by Section 106 developer contributions as detailed in recommendations 1.
