This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

To give permission for Netherfield Surestart Children’s centre to run a Forest School activity at Gedling Country Park during December 2017.

That Netherfield Children’s Centre be allowed to carry out their Forest School sessions at Gedling Country Park on the following dates, all between the hours of 9am and 11:30am:
Friday 1st December, Friday 8th December and Friday 15th December

To give permission for Arnbrook Children’s Centre to run two winter wonderland Xmas activities at Arnot Hill Park, during December 2017

That Arnbrook Children’s Centre be allowed to carry out their winter wonderland Xmas activities in the pavilion and in the park at Arnot Hill Park on:

This decision is dependent on correct insurance and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the park.

To give permission for WAG to organise a firework display at Muirfield Recreation Ground on 3rd November between 6pm and 8:30pm

That WAG be allowed to run their event at Muirfield Recreation Ground on the above dates and times. Estimated attendance 300.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the park. WAG have also consulted the Nottinghamshire Safety Advisory Group to author an event management plan having full regard for health & safety at the event.
