To seek approval for the council to apply rule 35.3 iv) of the Council’s Contracts and Procurement Rules to award a contract to EON Energy Services Ltd to provide a managed service to deliver the installations associated with the Government’s Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Phase 2 (LAD2).

THAT the Leader:
1) agrees to apply rule 35.3 iv) of the Council’s Contracts and Procurement Rules to enable direct award of a new contract to EON Energy Services Ltd to continue to provide a managed service to install measures in accordance with the council’s LAD2 scheme proposal.

To seek approval to advertise the notice of the Council’s intention to dispose of public open space land at Killisick Lane in accordance with s.123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Recommendation(s)
THAT the Leader of the Council:
1) Agrees to advertise the notice of the Council’s intention to dispose of public open space land at Killisick Lane and shown on the plan at Appendix 1, in accordance with s.123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972

To authorise the Corporate Director to enter into an agreement with Longhurst Group Ltd, a Housing Association, to fund a ‘Bath Out’ project up to £105,120 funded by the Council’s Better Care Fund allocation to adapt accommodation used by older residents.

THAT the Portfolio Holder:

To give permission for the Friends of Gedling Country Park to hold a nature survey day at Gedling Country Park on 20th August from 10am until 4pm.

That the Friends group be allowed to hold their nature survey day at Gedling Country Park on the above date and time. Estimated attendance: 50-100.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the land

To give permission for the Friends of Valley Road Park to hold their Family Fun Day on Valley Road Recreation Ground on 20th August between 11am and 3pm.

That the Friends of Valley Road Park be allowed to go ahead with their family fun day event as outlined on the above date. Attendance, est. 150--200.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

To appoint members of the Cabinet and approve delegations to individual Cabinet members

That:
- the appointments to Cabinet and delegations to Cabinet members as set out in the appendix be approved becoming effective on 1 August 2022
- all previous appointments to Cabinet cease as of 31 July 2022
- the appointment as Policy Adviser to the Cabinet as set out in the appendix be approved becoming effective on 1 August 2022
- all previous appointments as Policy Advisers cease as of 31 July 2022

To seek approval to award a Discretionary Disabled Facilities ‘Top Up’ Grant beyond the adopted policy amount of £10,000
