1)         To seek approval to implement, in accordance with the latest government guidance, the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant.

The purpose of this report is to request approval of the council tax base for the financial year 2022/23.

In accordance with The Local Authorities (Calculation of Council Tax Base) (England) Regulations 2012, the Portfolio Holder for Resources and Reputation approves the Council’s council tax base for 2022/23 as follows:
1)For the whole of its area 37,776.42
2)In respect of parish precepts, for those parts of its area mentioned in appendix 2 to the attached report, the amounts specified in appendix 2 to the attached report.

11/01/2022 - Nottinghamshire Orienteering Club – Orienteering event ref: 1261    Recommendations Approved

To give permission for Notts Orienteering Club to run their orienteering event at Gedling Country Park on 19th February start times are (provisionally) from 10:30-11:45. All courses close at 14:00. The car park will be cleared by 15:00 at the latest.

That the Orienteering event be allowed to go ahead at Gedling Country Park as outlined on the above date and times. Attendance, est. 50-75 participants
This decision is dependent on correct insurance, a risk assessment to cover Covid controls (if relevant) and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accidents for any activities held on the park.

To give permission for Parkdale Primary School to visit Gedling Country Park on Tuesday 1st February 2022 from 10am until 2pm.

That Parkdale Primary School be allowed to go ahead with their School visit as outlined on the above date. Attendance, est. 60 children and 10 adults.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.
