Turney, Elliott, Rawnsley, Carnegie, Monsarrat

Reasons for the decision:

The suggested name would comply with Gedling Borough Council Street Naming and Numbering Policy (March 2020)

Alternative options considered:

Miller homes made the following suggestions;
Forester Drive/Street – reference to the Sherwood Forest
Cromwell Road – Gedling was the birthplace of Lord Ralph Cromwell
Collier Street – Gedling Colliery was the lifeblood of the village
Byron Street – after Lord Byron who resided at Newstead Abbey
Newstead Avenue – after Newstead Abbey
Skylark Crescent – Skylarks can be seen at Gedling Country Park
Hawksley Drive – after Thomas Hawksley who designed and built Britain’s first domestic water supply system
The following names derived from trees found in Gedling Country Park:

Hornbeam Court
Elder Way
