Exclusion of press and public To move that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the ensuing reports on the grounds that the report involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 3 and 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. Minutes: RESOLVED:
That, the Members being satisfied that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the ensuing report on the grounds that the report involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. |

Consultation Closure - Restructuring proposals Report of the Chief Executive Minutes: The Chief Executive introduced a report, which had been circulated in advance of the meeting, seeking approval to close formal consultations on proposals to alter the structure of the organisation and also asked the Committee to make any recommendations for consideration by the Appointments and Conditions of Service Committee which will authorise the implementation of any structural changes and the methods by which these are made.
Members suggested that an induction programme be put into place following the structural change to introduce new senior staff to Councillors.
RESOLVED to:
1) Note the report; and
2) Recommend to the Appointments and Conditions of Service Committee that an induction programme be put into place following the structural change to introduce new senior staff to Councillors. |
