To consider the conferment of the title of Honorary Alderman of the Borough on Gedling. Minutes: a) Francis John Devy Boot
It was proposed by Councillor Powell, seconded by Councillor Peter Barnes and
RESOLVED:
That in pursuance of Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the most honourable distinction and title of Honorary Alderman of the Borough of Gedling be conferred upon Francis John Devy Boot in recognition of his eminent service to the Borough Council over a long period of years and as an expression of the high esteem in which he is held by members of the Council and their fellow citizens and that the Council do hereby confer upon.
b) Darrell Eduard Pulk
It was proposed by Councillor Clarke, seconded by Councillor Barnfather and
RESOLVED:
That in pursuance of Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the most honourable distinction and title of Honorary Alderman of the Borough of Gedling be conferred upon Darrell Eduard Pulk in recognition of his eminent service to the Borough Council over a long period of years and as an expression of the high esteem in which he is held by members of the Council and their fellow citizens and that the Council do hereby confer upon.
c) Roland Francis Spencer
It was proposed by Councillor Barnfather, seconded by Councillor Clarke and
RESOLVED:
That in pursuance of Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972, the most honourable distinction and title of Honorary Alderman of the Borough of Gedling be conferred upon Roland Francis Spencer in recognition of his eminent service to the Borough Council over a long period of years and as an expression of the high esteem in which he is held by members of the Council and their fellow citizens and that the Council do hereby confer upon. |
