RESOLVED:

That the minutes of the above meetings be approved as a correct record and signed by the Mayor.

92 NOTICE OF MOTION RECEIVED IN THE NAME OF COUNCILLOR GOLLAND IN THE FOLLOWING TERMS:-
RESOLVED That:

Gedling Council wishes to ensure the best possible youth services provision in the light of the resources which it should receive as its equitable part of the County Council Provision.

In view of this, this Council urges the County Council to progress the works and commissioning of the Lodge Project initiative, as a matter of urgency. Further it calls on the County Council to ensure that the provision of outreach and other workers be brought to a level that is entirely in line with that of other County Districts, and take the necessary steps to ensure that resources are maintained at that level.

92A. Upon a Notice of Motion received in the name of Councillor W.H. Golland a proposition was moved by Councillor Golland and seconded by Councillor R.F. Spencer in the following terms: -

‘The County Council Youth Services provision in Gedling is significantly lower than in other districts of the County. In view of this, this Council urges the County Council to redress the imbalance'

An amendment was moved by Councillor Gollop and seconded by Councillor Golland in the following terms:-

The Mayor put the amendment to the meeting and declared the same carried.
