Consultation process
The Council has a statutory duty to consult
when proposing changes to the council tax reduction scheme.
If the scheme is changed, it must be approved by 11th March in the
year preceding the year in which the changes are affected.
This report allows appropriate time for consultation and, if
necessary, scheme amendment.
