That James Mellors Amusements Ltd and Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd Annual Fun Fair be allowed to go ahead at Killisick Recreation Ground and Richard Herrod Playing Field as outlined below:

Killisick Recreation ground - Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd July 2018 inc.
Arrival on Monday 16th July and depart from 8am Monday 23th July. Opening hours on Sunday would be 2pm to 8.30pm.

Richard Herrod Centre Playing Fields -Thursday 26th July to Sunday 29th July 2018 inc. Arrival on Monday 23rd July and depart on Monday 30th July. Opening hours on Sunday would be 2pm to 8.30pm.

Attendance, est. 1500-2000 people per day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

This report details the Council Tax base as prescribed by legislation for the year 2018/19 and asks the Portfolio Holder to:-
1.Approve the Council Tax base for the year 2018/19 based on a collection rate of 98.75%
2.Determine the Council Tax base as a whole and in respect of parishes for 2018/19.
