28/01/2021 - Statement of Intent re Energy Company Obligation: Flexible Eligibility (first time central heating: Warm Homes Hub) ref: 1104    Recommendations Approved

To seek approval to publish 2nd Statement of Intent (SOI) that will outline where the Council will target Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Local Authority Flexible Eligibility (first time central heating: Warm Homes Hub) funding to dwellings in deprived and/or rural areas of the district that do not currently have a central heating system fitted.

1) Approves the SOI to enable targeted households in the borough to access the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Local Authority Flexible Eligibility (first time central heating: Warm Homes Hub) funding for works to their homes.
2) Delegate’s responsibility to the Director for Health and Community Wellbeing for the necessary administration to enable qualifying households to access the scheme.

25/02/2021 - Local Restrictions Support Grant for Business - Additional Restrictions Grant Top-Up Awards ref: 1131    Recommendations Approved

The purpose of this report is:

1) To seek approval to establish a budget of £1,047,300 to allow payment of the top-up Additional Restrictions Grant where the Council is required to exercise its discretion;

2) To seek approval for the top-up Additional Restrictions Grant amounts to be set by business type for payment in accordance with the criteria approved in the Council’s approved Local Restrictions Business Support Scheme.
