To gain approval from the Portfolio Holder for the following names to be used in relation to future developments in Calverton.
Creel, Feeder, Cam, Needle, Sinker, Motor, Yarn, Pulley, Dial, Fabric, Thread, Ainger, Bardill, Brown, Richardson, Rose, Wiggett, Harrison, Hind, Jeffery, Kirkham, Orange, Bagshaw, Grocock, Sissons, Linnet, Yellowhammer, Chiffchaff, Kestrel, Pheasant, Stag, Squirrel, Owl, Shrew, Goshawk, Butterfly, Stoat, Weasel, Cuckoo, Ladybird, Grasshopper.

THAT:
The Portfolio Holder agrees the following names to be used for future developments in Calverton;
Creel, Feeder, Cam, Needle, Sinker, Motor, Yarn, Pulley, Dial, Fabric, Thread, Ainger, Bardill, Brown, Richardson, Rose, Wiggett, Harrison, Hind, Jeffery, Kirkham, Orange, Bagshaw, Grocock, Sissons, Linnet, Yellowhammer, Chiffchaff, Kestrel, Pheasant, Stag, Squirrel, Owl, Shrew, Goshawk, Butterfly, Stoat, Weasel, Cuckoo, Ladybird, Grasshopper.

To seek approval to charge for the recovery of costs incurred by Gedling Borough Council Building Control whilst dealing with the demolition of non-exempt structures (buildings greater than 50m3).

To approve the introduction of a £300 fee to recover the costs associated with administering and controlling the demolition functions within Gedling Borough and for its introduction from 01 April 2021.

The report details a revised set of Fees and Charges for the Building Control Street Naming and Numbering Service, and seeks approval for their introduction from 1st April 2021.

To approve the revised Street Naming and Numbering Fees and Charges for 2021/22 as detailed in Appendix 2 for their introduction from 01 April 2021.

To seek authority to approve a “Discretionary Grant for Clients With Less Than £6,000 Capital Savings” outside the current adopted policy

The Portfolio Holder authorises the approval of a Discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant for circumstances outside the current policy

To seek approval for the proposed management and distribution arrangements for remaining ‘Giving For Gedling’ and ‘Feeding Gedling’ balances, and other external sources of funding that have been secured for the purpose of building community and voluntary sector resilience and extend the provision support to vulnerable people.

THAT: T he Portfolio Holder for Community Development
1) Approves the distribution plan for Gedling Borough Council’s ‘Giving For Gedling’ and ‘Feeding Gedling’ fundraising balances, Department for Environment, Food Rural Affairs (DEFRA) Covid-19 Clinically Extremely Vulnerable ( CEV )/ Vulnerable People (VP) support allocation and remaining Social Prescribing Reducing Isolation In Gedling ( SPRIING ) Pilot budget, as detailed in this report 2) Delegates authority to the Director responsible for Communities and Leisure to apportion the funding between local Community Hubs and community based services as detailed in this report.

To give permission for the Tuvida Nottinghamshire Volunteer Services to hold a Carers Picnic at Gedling Country Park on 16th August between 12pm midday and 14:00pm

That the Tuvida Nottinghamshire Volunteer Services be allowed to hold their Carers Picnic event at Gedling Country Park on the above date and time. Estimated attendance: 10.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance, risk assessment including any relevant Covid controls and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the land.

To obtain approval to cease Risk Based Verification process and cancel the accompanying policy document which applies to all new claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction to enable assessment of risk and claim verification to be undertaken on a case by case basis for all new claims.

That the Portfolio Holder for Housing, Health and Well-Being:
1)Approves the cancelation of the Risk Based Verification Policy and process with immediate effect.
