Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st July 2019 inc. arrival on Sunday 14th July and depart from 8am Monday 15th July. Opening hours on Sunday would be 2pm to 8.30pm
Richard Herrod Centre Playing Fields:
Thursday 25th July to Sunday 28th July 2019 inc.
Arrival on Monday 22nd July and depart on Monday 29th July. Opening hours on Sunday would be 2pm to 8.30pm.

That James Mellors Amusements Ltd and Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd Annual Fun Fair be allowed to go ahead at Killisick Recreation Ground and Richard Herrod Playing Field as outlined on the above dates. Attendance, est. 1500-2000 people per day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

The purpose of this report is to consider an application for discretionary relief under section 47 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

The application for discretionary relief under section 47 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 is allowed at a rate of 100% of the annual National Non-Domestic Rates due to the 31st March 2019. With effect 1st April 2019 a phased reduction of the amount of discretionary relief allowed by 10% each financial year until the 1st April 2023 where the relief allowed will be 50%.

To seek authority from the Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Resources and Reputation for the Service Manager - Development Services, in conjunction with the Director of Organisational Development and Democratic Services, to apply surcharges to the outstanding liability in accordance with Regulation 85 and 87 contained in Part 9 of the 2010 Community Infrastructure Regulations (as amended) (“the Regulations”), in respect of a chargeable development at 60 Main Street, Burton Joyce.

THAT:
1)authority is given for the Service Manager – Development Services, in conjunction with the Director of Organisational Development and Democratic Services to apply surcharges and late payment interest to the outstanding liability in accordance with Regulation, 85 and 87 contained in Part 9 of the 2010 Community Infrastructure Regulations (as amended) (“the Regulations”), in respect of a chargeable development at 60 Main Street, Burton Joyce.

To gain portfolio holder endorsement of Gedling Borough Council’s proposed response attached as Appendix A to the Government consultation ‘Planning reform: supporting the high street and increasing the delivery of new homes’.

Recommend that the Portfolio Holder endorses the proposed response to the consultation attached as Appendix A.

To obtain approval to directly award the contract for environmental improvements to Netherfield Cinder path to S.P.G Construction Ltd.

To approve the direct award of the contract for Environmental Improvements to the Netherfield Cinder path to SPG Construction Ltd.
