Consideration was given to a report of the Community Protection Manager, which had been circulated prior to the meeting, to seek approval to extend, for a further three years, the existing Public Space Protection Order (Colliery Way) 2023 relating to car cruising in the Netherfield and Colwick areas, which was due to expire on 23rd June 2026.
RESOLVED:
1. That Cabinet approved the extension of the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), as shown at Appendix 1, for a further three years, in accordance with Section 72 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
2. That Cabinet approved that the fixed penalty level for breach of the PSPO remained set at £100, payable within 14 days.
