Minutes:
The Director of Place introduced a report which had been circulated prior to the meeting to seek approval of the RIBA stage 2 plans for a new leisure centre, arts centre (including theatre and cinema) and library, and outline business case in readiness for future funding bid submissions or opportunities. To also note the outcome of the public consultation that shaped their development.
RESOLVED:
THAT CABINET:
1. Approves the RIBA Stage 2 plans and outline business case in support of a new arts centre (including a theatre and cinema), leisure centre and library for the purposes of supporting any future funding opportunities.
2. Notes the findings of the public consultation on the RIBA stage 2 plans which have been considered as part of the final plan proposals
