Consideration was given to a report of the Director for Communities Leisure and Environment, which had been circulated in advance of the meeting, seeking approval for proposed fees for Taxi Drivers that would apply for 2021/22.

 

RESOLVED to approve:

 

1)    The fees and charges detailed in Appendix 1 to the report with effect from 1 April 2021; and

 

2)    For advertisement in accordance with the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 the fees for taxi driver, operators and vehicle licences as detailed in Appendix 2 to the report for 2021/22 and that such fees will automatically come into force if no objections are received within the statutory period.  If any objections are received within the statutory period that these be referred back to Committee for consideration in accordance with the legislation.
