Purpose:

To give permission for Grow Wild Forest School to hold their weekly forest school sessions between 10am and 12pm midday on Gedling Country Park on the following dates:
June 2026 - 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
July- 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd
September- 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
October – 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
November – 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
December – 2nd, 9th, 16th
January 2027 – 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
February 3rd, 10th, 24th
March- 3rd, 10th, 17th. 24th, 31st
April – 7th, 14th, 28th
May 5th 12th 19th

Decision:

That Grow Wild be permitted to go ahead with their weekly forest school sessions as outlined on the above dates and times. Attendance, 10-15 children with parents
This decision is dependent on the organiser’s:
a) signing a user licence agreement
b) Payment of the licence fee
c) providing a risk assessment and compliance with use of the permitted areas of the park (see map)
d) providing to the Council a copy of their Public Liability Insurance
e) providing to the Council DBS certificates for the staff delivering the activities

Reasons for the decision:

To encourage use of the Council’s Parks and Open Spaces.
