To give permission for John Proctor Fun Fairs Ltd to hold a two day Fun Fair at Newstead Recreation Ground on 13th July between 6pm and 8pm and 14th July between 11am and 4pm

That John Proctor Fun Fairs be allowed to use Newstead Recreation Ground for the fun fair as outlined on the above dates and times.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.

To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides for the residents living near to the parks and so encourage social cohesion.

Not to hold the event
