To give permission for Proctors (Nottm) Fun
Fairs Ltd to hold a Fun Fairs on Newstead Recreation Ground as
follows: Thursday 13th July to Saturday 15th July 2017 inc.
Arrival on Tuesday 11th July and depart Sunday 16th July by Midday.
Opening hours Thursday 6pm until 10pm, Friday 6pm until 10pm and
Saturday 12pm midday until 8pm.
That Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd be allowed
to go ahead with their Funfair at Newstead Recreation Ground Field
as outlined on the above dates. Attendance, est. 1000 people per
day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk
assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying
Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities
held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated
should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the
site.
To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open
Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides for the residents
leaving near to the park and so encourage social cohesion.
