This report seeks approval to enter into a new
contract in respect of the delivery of face to face services by
Gedling Borough Council to customers of Gedling Homes from 1st
April 2017.
THAT approval is given to enter into a new
contract in respect of the provision of face to face service to
customers of Gedling Homes for a period of 1 year from 1 April
2017, with the option to extend the term by mutual
agreement.
The arrangement generates an income for the
Council and supports customers by enabling multiple issues to be
dealt with in one visit, therefore the loss of this provision would
not support the priority of ‘improving the customer
experience of dealing with the Council’
The Council could decide not to provide the
services as described in this report in which case the Civic Centre
would cease to deliver face to face services on behalf of the
Gedling Homes on 31 March 2017.
