Decision details

For the appointment of Proludic Ltd to provide and install a Multi-Use Games Area [MUGA] at Muirfield Road Recreation Ground, Muirfield Road, Warren Hill, Rise Park and to establish the associated budget.

To award the contract to Proludic, as their scheme was the lowest priced and does not exceed the amount of the WREN award.
To approve a virement to establish the budget for the scheme within the capital programme.

To contribute to the delivery of the fitness and wellbeing agenda by providing a place for children to play sport and exercise, and to meet the requirements of the green spaces strategy in providing sufficient children’s play space per resident child under 12.

To not install a multi-use games area resulting in a lack of provision for young children for recreational play in the area.
