To give permission for the Friends of Jubilee
Park to hold their annual Summer Community Gala on Burton Road
Jubilee Park on Saturday 11th July from 12pm until 4pm. Activities
to include Pony Rides, live entertainment, children’s games,
craft stalls, fair ground rides, archery and go kart style
tracks
That the Friends of Burton Road Jubilee Park
be allowed to go ahead with their Summer Community Gala at Burton
Road Jubilee Park, Burton Road, Carlton as outlined on the above
date. Attendance, est. 2500 people.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk
assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying
Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities
held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated
should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the
site.
To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open
Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides for the residents
leaving near to the park and so encourage social cohesion.
