Amusements Ltd and Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd to hold an Annual
Fun Fair at the following locations and on the following
dates:
Arnold Carnival – Saturday 20th June – Sunday 21st
June
Killisick Fair – Thursday 16th July – Sunday 19th
July
Carlton Fair – Thursday 23rd July – Sunday 26th
July
That James Mellors Amusements Ltd and Proctors
(Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd be allowed to go ahead at the above venues
and dates. Attendance, est. 1500-2000 people per day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk
assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying
Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities
held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated
should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the
site.
To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open
Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides, to encourage social
cohesion.
