To give permission for James Mellors
Amusements Ltd and Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd to hold an Annual
Fun Fair from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2014. Arrival on
Monday 14th July and depart from 8am Monday 21st July. To have
cleared the site no later than 3.30 on 23rd July. Dismantling to
cease at 11pm and no HGV’s to leave site on Sunday. Opening
hours on Sunday would be 3pm to 8:30pm.
. That James Mellors Amusements Ltd and
Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd Annual Fun Fair be allowed to go
ahead at Killisick Recreation Ground, Coppice Road, Arnold as
outlined on the above dates. Attendance, est. 1500-2000 people per
day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and event risk
assessment and will require the issue of a lease indemnifying
Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities
held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated
should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the
site.
To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open
Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides for the residents
leaving near to the park and so encourage social cohesion.
