Purpose:

To give approval for ReChurch to hold an open air church service at Carlton Hill Recreation Ground on 5th July 2025 from 10:30am until 2:30pm. Set up time from 9am and take down by 4:30pm

Decision:

That ReChurch be given approval to go ahead with their community open air church service event as outlined on the above date and times. Attendance, est. 500
This decision is dependent on, the organiser’s providing to the Council:
• A copy of their public liability insurance;
• the names and addresses of the food vendors and food hygiene safety certificates.
• The organiser signing a user licence agreement which will require a term in the licence to protect the grounds from vehicular damage by using ground protection if the conditions are wet and prohibition of vehicles accessing the football pitch. If any damage occurs to the grounds, the organiser will be required to reinstate the grounds.
• A Temporary event notice (if required for the music).
• An events management plan.

To encourage community use of the Council’s Parks and Open Spaces
