Purpose:

To obtain approval to grant a licence to the NHS Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust to use part of the car park at Killisick Community Centre for use as a mobile vaccination site.

Decision:

That the Corporate Director is recommended to:

a. grant a licence to the NHS Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust to use part of the car park at Killisick Community Centre for use as a mobile vaccination site

b. Delegates authority to the Head of Communities & Leisure to make all operational decisions relating to the licence agreement and approve any variations to the licence agreement, including in relation to extension of the licence period.

Reasons for the decision:

The Covid-19 pandemic continues to be well established and prevalent in the communities of the Borough. As part of the Covid-19 Response work, the Council has been working alongside partners to identify areas in the Borough that have health inequalities and also lower Covid-19 vaccination take up. Data has identified Killisick as an area of priority in this regard and the Countywide mobile vaccination team has been directed to target its service into this area.

There were no alternative options and licence agreement is required in this instance.
