Proctors (Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd to hold Annual Fun Fairs on both
Killisick Recreation Ground and Richard Herrod Field as
follows:
Killisick Recreation Ground:
Thurs 14 and Fri 15 July 2022: 16.30 – 20.30
Sat 16 July 2022: 12.30 – 20.30
Sun 17 July 2022: 12.30 – 18.30
Richard Herrod Centre Playing Fields:
Thurs 21 and Fri 22 July 2022: 16.30 – 20.30
Sat 23 July 2022: 12.30 – 20.30
Sun 24 July 2022: 12.30 – 18.30
There may be additional times for set up and take down (tbc)
That James Mellors Amusements Ltd and Proctors
(Nottm) Fun Fairs Ltd Annual Fun Fair be allowed to go ahead at
Killisick Recreation Ground and Richard Herrod Playing Field as
outlined on the above dates. Attendance, est. 5000 over the
operating period.
This decision is dependent on compliance with Health and Safety
Regulations, correct insurance and Safety Advisory Group approved
Event Management Plan including risk assessment and will require
the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough
Council in the event of accident for any activities held on the
recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated should any
damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the site.
To encourage use of the Council Parks and Open
Spaces
To facilitate the provision of amusement rides for the residents
living near to the parks and so encourage social cohesion.
