The Head of Planning and Environment reported that during the period 5th July to 24th September 2010 Gedling Borough Council undertook widespread consultation of its draft Licensing Policy Statement in accordance with the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 and national guidance.
The comments detailed in the report had been received during the Consultation period. Officers had viewed the comments in light of the relevant legislation and national guidance and proposed changes to the existing Policy Statement as outlined in the report.
