RESOLVED:

That the members being satisfied that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public and press be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the ensuing reports on the grounds that the report involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
90 APPLICATION FOR A HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE DRIVERS LICENCE - SM

RESOLVED:

To refuse the application from SM for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver's Licence on the basis that he is not considered to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence because he admitted to using drugs within the last 5 years.

SM was advised of his right of appeal against the decision of the Committee

RESOLVED:

To refuse the application from AA's for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver's Licence on the basis that he is not considered to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence because of his previous convictions, his failure to disclose some convictions, and because the Committee was not satisfied that he was not a danger to the public due to possible use of drugs.

AA was advised of his right of appeal against the decision of the Committee
