48 EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC AND PRESS
RESOLVED:

That, the Members being satisfied that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public and press be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the ensuing reports on the grounds that the report involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
49 CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE DRIVERS LICENCE - UA

RESOLVED:

To revoke UA's Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence on the basis that he is not fit and proper person to hold a licence because of the conviction and his failure to notify the Authority of the conviction in accordance with his licence conditions. UA was given 21 days, from the date of the Committee hearing, to surrender his drivers badge.
50 APPLICATION FOR A JOINT HACKNEY CARRIAGE/PRIVATE HIRE DRIVERS - SO

RESOLVED:

To approve SO's application for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence, subject to the necessary checks.

To refuse the application from SH for a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Drivers Licence on the basis that he is not a fit and proper person to hold a licence because of his previous conviction and his failure to disclose his conviction on his application form.
