 RESOLVED:

That the minutes of the meetings held on 27 April and 11 May 2005, having been circulated, be approved as a correct record and signed by the Mayor.

18 TO CONSIDER THE RECOMMENDATION MADE BY CABINET ON 19 MAY 2005 THAT NO FURTHER MODIFICATIONS MATERIALLY AFFECTING THE CONTENT ARE MADE TO THE DRAFT PLAN AND THAT THE DRAFT LOCAL PLAN AS MODIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF PROPOSED DECISIONS AND MODIFICATIONS BE ADOPTED AS THE GEDLING BOROUGH COUNCIL LOCAL PLAN (FIRST REPLACEMENT)

The Mayor declared the Proposition carried and it was:-

RESOLVED That:

No further modifications materially affecting the content are made to the draft Plan and that the draft Local Plan as modified in accordance with the Statement of Proposed Decisions and Modifications be adopted as the Gedling Borough Council Local Plan (First Replacement).
The meeting closed at 7.55 pm.

15Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Boot, A.m. Dunkin, M.S. Dunkin, Golland, Goodwin, Millar and Poynter.
17Councillors Beeston,Griffiths, W.J. Clarke, Kempster, Pulk and Woodward declared personal and prejudicial interests in item 4 (Draft Local Plan). Councillors Clarke, Kempster and Pulk being members of the Nottinghamshire County Council, Councillor Beeston as a result of his membership of Bestwood St. Albans Parish Council. Councillor Griffiths as a result of his involvement with the Calverton Preservation Society and also the closeness of his residency to one of the affected sites and Councillor Woodward as a result of his membership of Calverton Parish Council.

Councillors P.G Barnes, Cole, Creamer and M.S.Spencer declared personal interests in item 4 (Draft Local Plan) as a result of their membership of the Nottinghamshire County Council.

Councillors Beeston, W.J.Clarke, Griffiths, Kempster, Pulk and Woodward left the Chamber.
18Consideration was given to the minutes of the Cabinet held on 19 May 2005.

A proposition was moved by Councillor Feeney and seconded by Councillor Gollop that :-

'No further modifications materially affecting the content are made to the draft Plan and that the draft Local Plan as modified in accordance with the Statement of Proposed Decisions and Modifications be adopted as the Gedling Borough Council Local Plan (First Replacement)'

A request was made by two members for a named vote, and upon the Chairman putting the proposition to the meeting, the voting was as follows:-
